Central Industrial Security Force – CISF has invited applications from male Indian citizens for the recruitment of temporary posts of Constables/Driver and Constable/Driver-cum-Pump-Operator in Central Industrial Security Force as special recruitment drive for filling up backlog vacancies of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes. The eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 25/02/2012

1. Drivers/Constable (Driver)–Direct (Backlog vacancies): 683 Posts
2. Driver cum Pump Operator/Constable (DCPO)–Direct (Backlog vacancies): 143 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age is between 21 and 27 years as on 25/02/2012. Relaxation as per rules.
Educational Qualification: candidate should have passed Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
Application Fee: Candidates pay a fee of Rs-50/- in the form of Postal Order in favor of the respective officers as per given in advertisement. SC/ST candidates are exempted from application fee.
Selection Process: Selection shall be made on Eligibility Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Trade Test, Written test & Medical Examination.
How to Apply: The eligible candidates can apply in prescribed application format given in the advertisement along with Indian Postal Order to the concerned DIG of CISF as shown in the advertisement on or before 25/03/2012 and in case of residents of North East Region on or before 03/03/2012.
