G.O Ms.No.348 Dated 06.09.2012 Municipal Teachers Notional Increments benefit Extended.

Establishment - Municipal Teachers – Extend the benefit of counting two (2) years apprenticeship period of teachers for sanction of two notional increments working in Urban Local Bodies in the State – Monetary benefit from 01.04.2009 – Permission Accorded – Orders - Issued.

ORDER:-
In the reference 1st to 3rd read above, the School Education Department have issued orders to the effect that the period of apprenticeship of two years of the teachers be counted for the purpose of sanction of notional increments and sanction of two (2) Notional increments is with effect from 01.04.2009, but the arrears from
01.04.2009 to 31.03.2010 be credited to the General Provident Fund Account of the individuals who were appointed before 01.09.2004, and 10% of Basic Pay and DA on the arrears shall be credited to the Contributory Pension Scheme in respect of the Teachers appointed on or after 01.09.2004 and the balance of arrears shall be credited to the Compulsory Savings Scheme. The fixation benefits with effect from. 01.04.2010 shall be given in cash by adding the same in the salary for the month of April 2010, payable on 01.05.2010, subject to certain clarifications issued in the reference 3rd read above.
2. In the reference 4th read above, the Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration has been accorded permission to extend the benefit of counting of two (2) years apprenticeship period of teachers for the purpose of sanction of two (2) Notional increments to the Municipal Teachers working in Urban Local Bodies in the State on par with orders issued by the Education Department in G.O.Ms.No.2, School
Education (SE:SER-III) Department, Dated:05.01.2009 read with instructions issued in Government Memo. No.641/Ser.I.2/2009, dated: 11.11.2009 and Government Memo. No.8663/Ser.I/2010, dated: 01.07.2010 with monetary benefits from Dt. 01.02.2011
