G.O.Rt.No.5363, DATED:22-11-2012. AP State Govt List of General Holidays Optional Holidays 2013
HOLIDAYS- General Holidays and Optional Holidays for the year 2013 – Declared.
The Government of Andhra Pradesh direct that the days specified in Annexure-I(A) shall be observed as General Holidays by all the State Government Offices excluding the holidays falling on Sundays shown in Annexure-I(B) and Optional Holidays shown in Annexure-II(A) except the Optional Holidays falling on Sundays shown in Annexure II(B), during the year 2013. The State Government directs that all offices under State Government shall remain closed on all Sundays and Second Saturdays in all the months during the year 2013.

HOLIDAYS – Holidays under Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 for the year 2013 – Notified.

Under the Explanation to Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (Central Act XXVI of 1881) read with the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Notification No.20-25/26/Pub.I, dated 8-6-1957, the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby declare that in addition to Sundays expressly defined as Public  Holidays in the said “Explanation” the following days shall be observed as Holidays in the Andhra Pradesh State during the year 2013:
