AP DSC Guidelines 2018<\/h2>\n

AP DSC Recruitment Guidelines 2018<\/strong>\u00a0G.O Ms.No.68 Dated 26.10.2018<\/strong> released for the recruitment of TGT, PGT, PET, Principals today. These guidelines contains eligibility and scheme of the examination for the posts of TGT, PGT, PET, Principals,\u00a0Craft,\u00a0Art and Music Teachers. AP state govt, department of school education has released\u00a0G.O Ms.No.68 Dated 26.10.2018 today.<\/p>\n

These rules shall be called as the Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) for the posts of Principals,\u00a0Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs), Physical Education Teachers\u00a0(PETs), Craft, Art and Music Teachers Scheme of Selection Rules, 2018.\u00a0These rules shall apply to all categories of teacher posts in AP Model Schools, AP Residential\u00a0Schools and APBC Welfare Residential Schools as may be notified by the Government from time\u00a0to time.<\/p>\n

G.O Ms.No.68 Dated 26.10.2018<\/h2>\n

The Recruitment shall be through a selection process consisting of Written Test and other\u00a0criteria stipulated by the Government from time to time.<\/p>\n

  • For Principals the total marks shall be 100 for the Written Test (TRT).<\/li>\n
  • For Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) the total marks shall be 100 for the Written Test (TRT)<\/li>\n
  • For Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) the total marks shall be 100, out of which 80 marks\u00a0shall be for the Written Test (TRT) and remaining 20 marks for APTET (20%) Weightage<\/li>\n
  • For Physical Education Teachers (PETs) the total marks shall be 100, out of which 50 marks\u00a0shall be for the Written Test (TRT), 30 marks shall be for the Physical Efficiency Test and remaining 20 marks for APTET (20%) Weightage.<\/li>\n
  • For Craft and Art teachers the total marks shall be 100 for the Written Test (TRT) only.<\/li>\n
  • For Music Teachers the total marks shall be 100, out of which 70 marks shall be for the\u00a0Written Test (TRT) and remaining 30 Marks shall be for the Skill Test<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    A) The Screening Test (English Language Proficiency Test) will be conduct for the candidates of\u00a0Principals, PGT (Non Languages) and TGT (Non Languages) for 100 marks.
    \nB) The minimum qualifying marks for Screening Test (English Language Proficiency Test) is\u00a0OC\/BC – 60 Marks and SC\/ST\/PH\/Ex-Serviceman – 50 Marks.<\/span><\/p>\n

    PET Qualifications<\/h2>\n

    Must possess Intermediate Certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra\u00a0Pradesh (or) equivalent certificate recognized by Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of A.P.\u00a0and an under graduate diploma in Physical Education (U.G.D.P.Ed.) recognized by NCTE. (OR)\u00a0Must possess a Bachelor\u2019s Degree and a B.P.Ed (or) M.P.Ed recognized by NCTE.<\/p>\n

    Principal Qualifications<\/h2>\n

    (a) Academic Qualifications: Must possess any two year integrated Post Graduate Course from\u00a0Regional Institute of Education of NCERT (or) any Master’s Degree from UGC recognized\u00a0University with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
    \n(b) Professional Qualifications: Must possess B.Ed recognized by NCTE (or) equivalent degree\u00a0from UGC recognized University.<\/p>\n

    Craft Qualifications<\/h2>\n

    Must pass in Intermediate Examination (Board of Intermediate Andhra Pradesh)\u00a0AND\u00a0Must pass in Technical Teacher Training Certificate Course- Higher examination conducted by\u00a0Director Government Examinations., A.P. (OR)\u00a0Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts from any recognized University by UGC.
