School Health Programme has been undertaken by the Government to take care of the Health of the students of the Schools / Madrasahs. A series of activities have been included in the programme.
As a part thereof it has been decided that a medical team will visit the school / madrasah and will check up the health of the students. The observation will be recorded in the Health Card which already has reached to you. The B M O H of the Block and the S I S of the Circle will coordinate the matter. So you will make necessary arrangement in consultation with the both officers so that the medical team may visit your school and may check-up the students as per norms of the programme. A separate room as far as possible will be spared for the same in the school. The minimum infrastructural support like as a table, a chair and other materials should be provided to them. The information of the students in this matter such as Date of Birth, address and others as required by the team should be supplied. You will collect the iron tablets and other supplement from the said officers and supply the same to the concerned students as per instruction of the B M O H. If any referral case is identified then next course ofaction should be taken from your end for the same.
Also send weekly / monthly report on the programme to the B M O H of the Block and S I S of the
Circle or as instructed by them.
For the above purpose please select an assistant teacher as the nodal teacher who will monitor and
supervise the entire activities under the guidance of the Headmaster / Headmistress / T I C. Then
inform the name of the nodal teacher to the concerned B M O H and the S I S of the Circle so that
liaison may be maintained in the matter with the both. So please take all possible steps to achieve
the success of the programme to the fullest extent.Your whole hearted cooperation is solicited in
the matter.
