RMSA Assam TGT Recruitment Notification 2014

RMSA, Assam has issued a recruitment notification for 157 graduate teachers of English, Science, Maths, Arts, Assamese, Hindi, Bengali, Music, Computer Teacher, Librarian recruitment. on-line applications are invited from the intending candidates for the post of Graduate Teachers and Staff in Model schools located in 14 nos. of different educationally backward blocks of Assam. The appointment shall be on contractual basis, initially for a period of 11 months, which may be renewed depending on the satisfactory performance.

Age: The maximum age of the Applicants shall be 38 years of age as on 01st July, 2014 (Relaxation of age will be applicable for SC/ST Applicants up to 5 years as per norms)

Selection Procedure
a) 100 marks on percentage of marks in B.A/B.Com/B.Sc Examination; [In case of Major/Hons, the marks obtain in Major/Hons, shall be taken into consideration];
b) 100 marks on percentage of marks in H.S Final Examination;
c) 100 marks on percentage of marks in H.S.L.C Examination;
d) 100 marks on percentage of marks in B.T/B.Ed Examination;
e) 20 marks for achievement in fine Arts and Cultural Activities/Sports representing the state
officially at National Level/ NCC certificate/ participating in recognized sports at National level
representing Assam
f ) Maximum 30 marks for teaching experience @ 2 marks per year of teaching experience in
Higher Secondary School/High School having enrollment more than  100.
j) 20 marks on Interview.

Application fees:
Applicants must submit an applicant fees of Rs 200/- at any branch of State Bank of India after second
working day (48 Hours) from the day of the application submit.

INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS
1. Cutoff date for determining various eligibility criteria (educational qualifications, age limit,
experience etc.) will be 01st July,2014.

2. Applicants are advised to satisfy themselves about their eligibility before applying. Prescribed
essential qualifications are only a criterion of eligibility for consideration and it does not entitle
a Applicants to be necessarily selected.

3. Relaxation in upper age limit as per Government of Assam rules will be admissible.

4. The Applicants should apply only by online. Online application can be submitted in RMSA website www.rmsaassam.in. Applicants must carry all the attested photocopies of certificates in proof of age, qualifications, experience, pay scale and category along with the original when called for interview.

5. Selected Applicants are likely to be posted/ transferred to any Model School of Assam.

6. Applicants working in Government departments, Autonomous Organizations, etc. must submit
their applications through proper channel.
