General Provident Fund - Authorities competent to grant Temporary Advances – Amendment to sub - rule (1) of rule 14 of General Provident Fund (Tamil Nadu) Rules – Issued

The following Notification will be published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.
Notification
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India and of all other powers hereunto enabling, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the General Provident Fund (Tamil Nadu) Rules.
Amendement
In the fifth schedule, to sub-item (2) of item (b) of sub-clause (1) of Clause 1, the following proviso shall be added namely:-
“Provided that in the case of Judicial Officers under the control of District Judge, the powers of the High Court may be exercised by the Principal District Judge / District Judge of the respective District”
